JetBackup for cPanel is installed in two (2) easy to follow steps:
Step 1 - Login to your server as the root
user, then execute the following commands on your CLI to install the JetApps repository and plugin manager on your cPanel server:
bash <(curl -LSs https://repo.jetlicense.com/static/install)
For cPanel servers with LFD enabled, please make sure to restart lfd before proceeding to Step 2 to make changes in csf.pignore take into effect.
Step 2 - Once the repo and plugin manager installation is complete, you may proceed to install JetBackup for cPanel using one (1) of the two (2) OPTIONS below:
Option 1 (command line): On the same console, execute the following command with your preferred tier.
jetapps --install jetbackup stableJetBackup will initiate the installation, specifying the version and will prompt Completed once the installation is finished.
Option 2 (GUI): Login to your cPanel WHM server GUI using the
root
user.
Under the plugins menu, click on JetApps > JetBackup(More Details), choose your preferred tier and approve the installation.You will be prompted with a success confirmation box once the installation is finished.

After successfully installing JetBackup for cPanel, visit your cPanel WHM interface and you may access JetBackup under the plugin section. Take the time to review the Getting Started guide to help set up JetBackup and run your first backup!
