System Logs

The system log can be found on the log section filtered by "system logs" or in /usr/local/jetapps/var/log/jetbackup/system/.
In this section you can view daily cron logs, reindex logs, cPanel (un)suspend/create account/terminate account logs and more.

These are all the system log types that available:

  • daily_* - This log contain information about:
    1. Delete old safety backups.
    2. Delete old snapshots.
    3. Delete old downloads.
    4. Clearing items from the queue.
    5. Clearing acknowledged alerts that are 3 days old.
    6. Updating backup/clone job exclude accounts list if something has been changed (account has been created/filter has been changed on the backup job etc.).
    7. Backup JetBackup configurations to Disaster Recovery destinations and local destination.
  • hooks_* - These logs contain information about the custom hooks that were triggered.
  • mc_* - These logs contain the information that was sent to JetBackupMC.
  • notify_* - This log contains the information that was sent to "API Notification system".
  • reindex_* - This log contains information about the reindex process. Include the number of backups that found for each account on the destination.
