What Happens If I Disable a Destination?
Disabling a destination in JetBackup will have the following effects:
- No backups will be stored: Any new backups will not be sent to the disabled destination.
- Existing backups remain unaffected: Previous backups already stored in that destination will not be deleted or affected.
- Scheduled backups may fail: If the disabled destination is part of your backup schedule, it may cause backup failures due to the inability to write to the destination.
- Restore operations may be impacted: If you need to restore from a backup stored at the disabled destination, you won’t be able to access it until the destination is re-enabled.
