How can I exclude database tables from backup?
Step 1 - Configure the Backup Job
- Go to JetBackup > Backup Jobs.
- Edit the backup job where you want to exclude database tables or create a new one
Step 2 - Enable “Exclude Database Tables” Options
- Make sure “Database” options is unable.
- In the job settings, locate the Backup Contains section.
- Enable the “Exclude Database Tables” option.
Step 3: - Select Tables to Exclude

After enabling Exclude Databases, a list of databases will appear.

You’ll now see a list of its tables. Simply select the tables you want to exclude from the backup.
Step 4 - Save the Backup Job
- Review your selections.
- Click “Save” to apply the changes.
⚠️ Note: You cannot exclude database tables from an existing backup. After updating the exclusion settings, you must crate a new backup for the changes to take effect.
