What does lock backup do?

Lock backup will action allows you to lock or unlock a backup for a selected destination. If locked, the backup cannot be modified or deleted.

How to lock a backup ?

Step 1 - Find the backup you want to lock

• Go to JetBackup > Backups.
• Find the backup to lock

Step 2 - Click the “lock” button

• Click the “lock” button located underneath the selected backup.

  

• After you click “lock” popup will appear. select a backup to lock

  

• Press “lock” button from popup

• You should receive a “success” notification afterward.

How to unlock a backup ?

Step 1 - Find the backup you want to lock

• Go to JetBackup > Backups.
• Find the backup to unlock

Step 2 - Click the “lock” button
